Young Cultentrepreneurs

‘Young Cultentrepreneurs - Supporting youth innovative minds for cultural and creative entrepreneurship’ is a cooperation partnership project in the field of youth co-funded by the Erasmus Plus programme of the EU. The aim of the project is to create a non-formal learning ecosystem to entice, engage and equip NEETs (Young persons not engaged in education, employment or training) with skills to enter the cultural and creative economy and to allow their creativity, entrepreneurial and business skills to bloom.

The specific objectives of the project are:

Handbook for Youth Workers: The How’s and why’s for Cultural and Creative Entrepreneurship

This specific Handbook aims to compile the national findings of different countries (Poland, Portugal, Spain, Greece and Sweden) into one analysis that will facilitate the development of the tools and course in the next phase of the project.

The Handbook includes an in-depth analysis of current trends in cultural and creative entrepreneurship in Europe, providing examples with emphasis on youth initiatives as well as summing the conclusions and recommendations on the described topic. Moreover, it includes a chapter dedicated to methods that can be used to activate young people by channeling their youth cultures into entrepreneurship and collaborative clusters.

We also created a compilation of best practices which summarised what has been pursued at the national policy level in terms of cultural and creative entrepreneurship. Lastly, the Handbook includes some non-formal education activities which we will put into practice during the seminar!
